Relocation professionals must constantly update their training to improve their business practices. They can also obtain a European certificate.
"At the source of all knowledge, we find curiosity!
It is an essential condition for progress."
Translation of a quote by Alexandra David-Neel - French explorer and writer, 1868-1969
The European Academy of Relocation Professionals (EARP) was founded in 2002 for training purposes, by four European associations:
• ABRA, Belgium
• ARP, United Kingdom
• EuRA, Europe
• SNPRM, France
It is run by an administrative board consisting of a representative of each founding association and assisted by an operations manager based in England.
Its aims:
• To establish training programmes
• To accredit training courses dispensed in Europe and organised by the different associations
• To keep records of trainees' accredited points
• To establish a process for recognition of accredited points by certification.
For each day of training the trainee acquires 50 points.
Certified European Relocation Professional
CERP1: 200 points.
CERP2: 300 points
CERP3: 450 points.
In addition to the 450 points accumulated during training, level 3 trainees must write a 2,500-word paper dealing with a subject on the programme, corrected by Louvain University (Belgium).
To maintain their level 3 qualification, trainees must attend at least one day of training per annum.
